On Sunday 9 June, the last day of the 2024 European elections, the European People’s Party and the campaign of Lead Candidate Ursula von der Leyen will host an election night event. This event is open to the press.
EPP Lead Candidate Ursula von der Leyen, President Manfred Weber and Secretary General Thanasis Bakolas, will attend the event to follow national exit polls and results as voting comes to a close across the EU.
Date: Sunday 9 June, 18:00
Venue: EPP Headquarters, Rue du Commerce 10, 1000 Brussels
Note to press
Press registration also opens at 18:00. The press registration desk and working area will be at the EPP Headquarters. Media will have access to the main event in the venue which is directly opposite HQ.
For journalists who would like to attend, please register here before Thursday, 6 June at 12:00 CEST. Registration will close at that point. Journalists must bring an accreditation issued by the European institutions or national press ID cards. Those that do not hold a valid press ID must, in advance, send a scanned letter to press@epp.eu, signed by the editor-in-chief of their media organisation that confirms their status as a journalist and states they are covering the event for the aforementioned media outlet.
