EPP Summit Date: Thursday, 20 March 2025 from 08:30 to 10:30 Venue: Hotel Sofitel Brussels Europe, Pl. Jourdan 1, 1040 Brussels   EPP Leaders will participate in the EPP Summit in Brussels on Thursday 20 March. Preparations for the European Council on 20 and 21 March will be on the agenda. EPP President Manfred WEBER and EPP Secretary General Thanasis BAKOLAS will host the Summit. The following leaders have confirmed their attendance:  
  • President of the European Commission Ursula von der LEYEN and President of the European Parliament Roberta METSOLA.
  • Heads of state/government Ilie BOLOJAN (Romania), Nikos CHRISTODOULIDES (Cyprus), Luc FRIEDEN (Luxembourg), Ulf KRISTERSSON (Sweden), Kyriakos MITSOTAKIS (Greece), Luís MONTENEGRO (Portugal), Petteri ORPO (Finland), Andrej PLENKOVIĆ (Croatia), Evika SILIŅA (Latvia), Christian STOCKER (Austria) and Donald TUSK (Poland).
  • Deputy Prime Ministers Antonio TAJANI (Italy) and Vincent VAN PETEGHEM (Belgium).
  • Party President Boyko BORISSOV (Bulgaria).
  • Opposition leaders Bernard GRECH (Malta), Annita DEMETRIOU (Cyprus) and Alberto NÚÑEZ FEIJÓO (Spain).
  • Members of the EPP Presidency Mariya Gabriel, Esteban GONZÁLEZ PONS, Johannes HAHN, Andrzej HALICKI, David McALLISTER, Siegfried MUREŞAN and Dubravka ŠUICA.
  • EPP treasurer François-Xavier BELLAMY (France).
  • Chairwoman of the EPP Group in the CoR Sari RAUTIO.
  Press registration Journalists wishing to cover the EPP Summit must register by 19 March via the following form: https://forms.office.com/e/Zn5XGfCwhk. For security reasons, please ensure that you bring a valid form of identification. Journalists will be given access to the venue upon presentation of their accreditation badges issued by the European Council or their national press ID cards.   Note to the press Press registration will open at 07:30. Due to the early timing of the Summit the press working area will be limited.
